Periods of rain and a few storms are likely tonight and into the early morning hours. Heavy rainfall will be possible. Additional rainfall is likely for the morning commute, with more activity expected during the remainder of the morning hours. The rain will slowly break up to more scattered activity Monday afternoon into Monday evening. Widespread 1-to-3-inch rainfall amounts are expected, with isolated 5 to 7 inches is possible. This could result in significant flooding concerns, especially in areas that received heavy rainfall earlier Sunday.Stay with Severe Weather Center 9 for the latest on this Weather Alert Day.Click here to download our free new
