This Halloween, Santa Barbara will not only get more spooky, but it will definitely get wet. Rich Thompson, meteorologist for the National Weather Service, said families should prepare for “a little wet trick-or-treating” on Saturday night. A storm is moving across Southern California, creating widespread rainfall in parts of Santa Barbara County over the weekend, Thompson said. The rain smacked down between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning, forecasters said. Scattered showers dropped on Friday and there is a 30% chance of rain going into Saturday morning. More showers are expected to splash into the city on Halloween, bringing in nearly a half inch of rain.
