Oct. 30: Nice Friday before heavy rain returns for part of the weekend — Vero Beach Community news

Only a few showers are expected from time to time today with plenty of sunshine. It will be a bit warm and sticky with high temperatures around 87°. Overnight into Halloween, slow moving downpours will start to develop. These will not hit everywhere, so coverage will be at 50%. Those getting the rain could have it for a while and those squeezing in between will see a lot drier weather. The two wetter days look to be Sunday and Monday. The Weather Prediction Center has placed South Florida in a level 1 out of 4 for flooding.
