Dolphins blow double-digit lead in loss to Patriots, fall to 1-6 — Vero Beach Arts news

The Miami Dolphins couldn’t build on their first win of the season, surrendering a 10-point halftime lead in a 24-19 loss to the New England Patriots on a rainy Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium.Miami appeared poised to make it two consecutive victories after taking a 13-3 lead into halftime. However, New England dominated the second half, scoring 21 unanswered points to hand the Dolphins another loss. The Dolphins were coming off their first victory of the season, a 28-25 win over the New York Jets last Sunday. Jarrett Kingston got the start in his place. The Dolphins’ defense provided an early spark when rookie linebacker Jacob Rodriguez delivered his signature Peanut Punch, knocking the ball loose from Patriots receiver Chism.
