VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) - A 67-year-old Venice man was arrested Oct. 29 in Punta Gorda following a Venice Police Department investigation with assistance from the Punta Gorda Police Department and the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.Kevin Johns is charged with two counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor age 16 or 17 by a person age 24 or older, one count of indecent, lewd or lascivious touching of a minor age 16 or 17 by a person age 24 or older and one count of unlawful use of a two-way communications device, police said. He is currently being held at the Charlotte County Jail, awaiting extradition to the Sarasota County Jail.Venice Police detectives believe there may be additional victims.
